Created for Week Two of the November Art Journal Challenge. The prompt I used was "favorite part about nature."
After I decided to add some blue to week two, I went ahead and added some to week one for a more cohesive page in the end.
Background: paper 07 in Multiply mode over paper 12 in Linear Burn mode over paper 18. I used two of the collection's photo clusters and tucked various elements and paint over and under.
So many things to be grateful for! As I approach my 70th birthday in September, my perspective on things and travel and goals is changing. A comfortable home with people and things I love brings me more joy than ever. I want more of that in 2023.
The background consists of three layers. The bottom layers is a brown paper. Above that is a green paper that still has a normal blend but the Underlying Layer slider has been moved to determine how much of the paper appears. The top layers is a cream artsy paper with a blend mode of Pin Light.
