I always get excited when I see an ATC challenge :-D
My first thought was to do both a spring and a fall, but at this point I should try to rein in my expectations on what I can get done in a month.
Anyway - once this one started coming together it was a fast finish. Well, I made it a fast...

I love this challenge - it's always so much fun.
This is way different than what I originally had in mind, but once I started with it I fell in love with the concept. It's not exactly monochromatic; if this is a problem I'll gladly do another. If not, enjoy this lil cutie :-D

Well. I'd make a joke here if it hadn't been such an awful month. I'm just glad to get this one done.
So, week two - the intersection of impatience and chronic illness. More like a train wreck, though ...
This one was hard. There's so much to hate right now and it's easy to get overwhelmed with it. But then I found this quote, and it seems a perfect response to it all. The MLK quote seems fitting to close out Black History Month.
Woo. Big challenge here. I've been sitting on this piece for most of the month, and I'm still not totally happy with it, but time is running out and finished is better than perfect.
Inspirations -
1 - bunny
5 - train decal
7 - carnival lights
9 - trees
11 - side foliage
This was a real challenge for me. I am a tried and true maximalist, but when I do go for clean and simple, classic and elegant is my fave way to go.
It was hard to not keep adding stuff. So few elements feels like cheating.
I have to say this one was hard at first. The plain white background was driving me nuts :-D It wasn't until I decided to lean into it that this came together.
But the biggest surprise of all? I only used one kit. That's even more amazing than the white background.
For February's free-for-all.
Quote is from To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee:
"Mockingbirds don’t do one thing except make music for us to enjoy. They don’t eat up people’s gardens, don’t nest in corn cribs, they don’t do one thing but sing their hearts out for us."
