Actually #1 is false. If I'm in HI at Christmas it'll have been my third trip out in six wks and mean that my dad has had another major health problem. The grandkids aren't old enough to understand what receiving a gift means and their parents have more than enough "stuff" for them. We...

I'm guessing #2 is the lie
What a fun game.
Here are mine:
1. I am hoping to spend Christmas in Hawaii this year
2. My grandkids didn't cry when they visited Santa this year
3. We don't give the grandkids Christmas gifts.
A bunch of things have happened recently that's causing me reflect on "change." TS Eliot's poem "Journey of the Magi" was written shortly after he converted to Anglicanism, which apparently was a difficult transition for him. You can easily google the poem, which I think is best enjoyed in its...

This initially caught my eye in the gallery because of its clean white-space LO, but on closer inspection I love the way the embellishments carry your image out into the page.
This page has a lot of wonderful green-brown "stuff" in its BG, but I love the way the theme stands out because of your skillful placement of the silhouettes and title. (And I enjoy watching these big birds when I spot them).
I bookmarked your page awhile back because I liked the stripes, relative simplicity and the titlework, but reflecting on the message now, I think it's a bit sad that some people have forgotten how scary and difficult 2020 was - and behave in accordingly bad ways as a result.
What with AI scraping images and applying facial recognition, I'm (sadly) always looking for ways to use photos in which faces aren't easy to see, so your page is helpful and inspirational. I also like the choice of big white numbers at the top. Congrats on the Standing O!
