I separated the figures from the background. I made the figures a bit darker and the background a bit lighter. I added a photo filter to the background to change the color a bit (yellow) Just to say I did I added a stroke behind the figures. Final I darkened the whole picture a bit.,

I did but that didn't work. I few I know on another team said it's slow too. I guess I'll just put up with it.
