The Terracotta Army is definitely worth a visit. I was thrilled when I saw part of it in an exhibition in Europe. I hope I live to see the scientists discover what lies beneath the burial mound.

Gorgeous take on the challenge with this amazing vintage page. If I were a teacher, I would show this page to my pupils and ask them to write a story, because on the one hand it seems mundane (a journey), but on the other hand it could also conceal a painful farewell or a joyful arrival, or...

Too bad that you don't have a nice sofa that you could decorate with your own paintings or a blanket you crocheted yourself. Didn't you take any furniture with you to LA? My sister's friend has very spartan furnishings; there's just a blank wall behind the sofa. Even more minimalism than my page ;).
