    April Challenge #3 - Occasions & Themes

I scrapped a lot of photos from this trip in 2007. Hopefully this looks a bit different now.
  2. Window to Other Times

    Window to Other Times

In northeast Arizona, in the Navajo Nation, the canyon has been home to different peoples over the centuries. We took a tour with a guide into the canyon. It was incredible and beautiful. It was my highlight of a three-week trip we took in May 2007 for genealogy, family, and to finally see the...

I'm another who likes big photo challenges.
  4. Carolina Wren Made Us Smile

    Carolina Wren Made Us Smile

March 10th we hoped for some signs of spring at the nature center but had almost none. Two Carolina Wrens were out in the open but not singing for the best part of our visit.

Scrap Stories: Mojo's Up and Left

Another I like is the Louise Penney mystery series set in Quebec. I learned of them here at the O! If you are interested in genealogy and mysteries, I think the best in that genre are the ones by Nathan Dylan Goodwin on genealogist Morton Farrier (and his new genetic genealogy series).

Scrap Stories: Mojo's Up and Left

I have really enjoyed this series though they seem a little more exciting in the earlier ones.

And now for some more Bird ID help...

Yes! Long, long ago a neighbor made some and it was very good. Needs to come from non-chemical treated areas though.

And now for some more Bird ID help...

The photo is of American Goldfinches. Don't worry about Lesser Goldfinches as they don't occur in NJ. Goldfinches are small so if the other birds are that much smaller, they might be someone else. Ruby-crowned Kinglets or Golden-crowned are unlikely to come to your feeder but I can't say that...

  12. ATC Spring Forsythia

    ATC Spring Forsythia

When forsythia blooms it seems a joyous celebration of early spring so this year I took a few photos of some and thought it was perfect for a spring ATC.

Thanks for the challenge, Anne-Marie, I really like doing these ATCs.

    Crochet?

Your work is beautiful and I can see why it's prize winning! My mother crocheted wonderfully but I couldn't learn from her. As a young adult textile artist I took a class at a local library and just took off with it. I made clothes and other things, but my real love was sculptural forms. I...

    Daily Ooos: Monday, March 24

I'm like Tracy, have only seen previews, but they're enough to know I don't need to see it. But then there's the fact that I don't like musicals. Might have something to do with it.

    March AJ Challenge Week 4 {PERSPECTIVE}

I have only done week 1, so flipped it almost literally including my drawing. Changed the concept somewhat from the end result of art to the beginning of it. This was week 1 and week 4
  20. AJ4 Need Vision

    AJ4 Need Vision

I've "flipped" my week 1 LO including flipping my drawing. The concept is looking at the idea of what you make others see from another angle. The colors also went from warm to cool.
