Absolutely yes to nuts! We got used to having pecans when my parents moved to a house with two trees. Even now always have pecans to put in and on things.

The orange iris blooms a bit earlier so made itself known to much puzzlement. How could a dark purple iris turn orange. DH researched to learn the interloper's name, but it took a long time to find an answer as to how it came to be in his iris garden. Just forgotten.
