Lovely page and as always interesting framing that works so well. Love the iris element and the rest of that cluster. How cool to have the Bobolink still there!
Happy Wednesday Birthday Fairy! I can't spend so much time here right now but I'm trying to keep up a little bit. The first day challenge became very special for me and I'm working on the games.
Always so happy to see you here. :heartpumplove:
You may not be a "bird person," but this page is beautiful. How neat to get the flight shots while working with the blackbird. Love the signpost with the ribbon and dried stem and the upper left geese in flight.
Loving this slightly moody page. The photo grabs the eye, but the words give meaning and then all the various elements have me looking for more: the lace, stamp, compass, birds.
Cheryl, thank you so much for mentioning my LO. :lovey3: I was afraid it might be too dark, but the song really insisted to me to do this. Maybe something we all think about when someone we cherish was in that situation.
I went with "19" by Paul Hardcastle. It's focused on the war in Vietnam and the average age of soldiers of 19. It always reminded me that my brother fought a similar (though much colder) war in Korea at age 19. So that's what I scrapped.
Inspired by "19" by Paul Hardcastle, I've scrapped about my brother who served in the war in Korea at age 19 well before the song's focus on Vietnam. The song always did remind me how young my brother was then.
