Our word prompt for October is RISK. I'd have to title this layout "The Night Chuck Took a RISK".
There's small journaling on the page. It talks about mutual friends who had tried to fix us up. I said "no" that I was not interested. Chuck took it upon himself to come over and introduce himself...
Thanks, Char. We moved from S Florida, so I know what you mean. You're right, it doesn't last long enough. I actually took this picture last fall, on one of my walks. We're not into much color yet - just an occasional tree, but its fun to see the leaves changing.
This is SO amazing and SO creative, Char!! I love all of your journaling and all of the different journaling methods - the word strips, the different fonts! What wonderful goals you have and you can do it. Your page is just beautiful and I'm giving you a Standing O!
You just gave me goosebumps, Bitzee. I love these kids so much and I'm so honored to have been an instrumental part of their lives. I'm looking forward to the great Grands SO much.
Thanks so much, Tracy. That top picture wasn't a very good quality, but they're not all great, are they? After blending it, I was fairly happy with it. Lovely comments, as always.
Our word prompt for September is COMMITMENT. This week, I created a page about COMMITMENT to the next generation. Top photo: my 3 oldest grandchildren, spouses, 2 great grandchildren and another one on the way.
Bottom are my 3 youngest grandchildren.
