Love what you are doing with Halloween pages and notions! That moon photo is amazing! We see lots of skeletons like these all over - really fun! Oh and the dark background paper, so effective!
I love Halloween; haven't always, but 4 years ago in Portland, at only 21-months old, Oz declared "Ozzy wuvs Halloween decorations". I don't go all-out decorating myself - it's easier to just let neighbors do the work and enjoy the benefits. Most of these photos are from our local village...
Love this Halloween page (been enjoying all your Halloween pages) - nice blending of the well-decorated house, and love the surround of well-chosen elements. I had to look really carefully to pick out the pumpkin notion on the steps - it blends right in with the real pumpkins!
I'm somewhat speechless...so well done! Agree with all of the above, I really love that cluster and the colored text...what I most admire is your thinking - I take photos and scrap about them, not much need for original ideas. Your pages are always so fresh and original!
This might be the last one...it's getting chilly out in the evenings. This was after the rain storm that brought .1" of rain to LA - everything is fresh and clean now. I use a pano shot of the sunset as a base, blending it with DeNovo FotoBlendz over DeNovo Artsy Paper (copy flipped for...
Oh this is beautiful! Love the glimpse of the red apples and fabulous apple extractions! That tree is a great addition and nice touch to add the MM at the base. I just love red!
Thanks! I am really proud of how these turned out and how much Oz loves his costume, and that he wanted to include Bowie (he still mostly sees her as an annoyance). It's also been wonderful rediscovering Pooh bear :-)
Thanks so much! I don't keep track of hours, but I started this in early September, so it took about a month. I crochet in the evenings, usually in front of baseball or Masterpiece Theater on TV :-) I scrap mostly in the mornings over my coffee. Being retired, my time is all about health and...
This was just before a big storm blew in and we actually got real rain! Thanks, choosing and changing notions has become a favorite (although time consuming, since I don't know when to stop).
Similar to my last beach page design, just flipped, with a blended photo on the right, and FotoInspired Frames on the left (page 4). Clipped photos and Artsy Kardz Spindrift to the frames. Lots of time choosing and placing elements. Final step - clipped labels out of the color swatch, added...
Your phototaking and scrapping remind me how I was with my grandson at this age - so wonderful to capture the small moments. His first word was "ball". I like the way the frames are arranged in a "ball"/circle.
I started by placing the 2 extractions (done by iPhone) on the page then wondered what yellow/pink palette I could use. Then I thought of the Folklore ALT, and how it presented a perfect woody scene. I added a brownish color fill in Screen mode at 75% to give it more of a vintage look. Blended...
