Welcome to November! Not sure how we got here so quickly!
I like to set November aside as a month of really focusing on the good things in my life. Even on a bad day, if I look hard enough, I can find something to be thankful for! I thought someone else might want to join me. There will...
Day 1 found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-gratitude-challenge-day-1.43104/
Thankful for strength to do my chores.
Today began early...7:15 a.m.
Mark was picking up his stepson, Michael, to spend the day with him. They would be outside most of the day working.
I had a...
Good morning,
I've done a day's worth of work already! But still have more to do, LOL!
Mark is in the woods with his step son. He had to travel about 30 minutes to get him. They stopped at Mikey D's for breakfast and brought an egg McMuffin back to me, which was nice!
I left after he did to...
I warned him early that if we traveled at night he was on his own with the driving! Even with less traffic, the low grumblings from his side of the car continued throughout the trip! If he hit the rumble strips, that was the only time I dared to look his way! ;)
We had frost on our roof this morning! Besides the other places! I used my seat heater this morning when I went to get the groceries! Hope your forest bathing is warmer than expected!
Good Afternoon!
It's about time for me to feed Asher, so I will be quick.
Got back from AL at 1:30 Thursday morning. Mark wanted to drive during the night to avoid traffic. We did, but he had to deal with the rain the whole way home! I don't know which is worse!
Anyway, we slept in until...
Asher knows he better stay out of my face until it is time for food! 3:30 is dinner and he starts his moaning and groaning before 3, usually. Sometimes its even earlier! If he comes down the hall looking at me like, "OK, I'm ready!" When I tell him it isn't time yet, he tucks his tail...
Hope your hip replacement gets much better before the 2 weeks!
A kitchen renovation would be loved here, but alas, no funds to do such a thing. So I'm stuck with a 1960's kitchen! But it could be worse!
So glad your body is allowing you to be a scrapping machine again, Kay!
We are the same.....live on a main highway out in the country and don't get any trick-or-treaters, either.
Welcome back, Jenn! Hope you stay for longer than a visit! Even if only just to chat! The scrapping mojo typically comes and goes for every scrapper, so you're not alone! Welcome!
Don't try it without "court" shoes! I used regular Skechers and ended up "sticking" to the court when going after a ball.....fell.....broke my wrist and fractured my back!
Cabin in the Woods
by Brit Taylor
I got a cabin in the woods
It does my soul so good
Come on over if you would
To my cabin in the woods
Mark took this picture of me while I was working a puzzle on my phone. I love the warm glow the fire gives the cabin. 10/25/25
We left Michael and Jessica’s around 4:45 under fairly cloudy skies, but the sun was shining. An hour later, we found ourselves heading into more stormy weather. But the hue of the clouds from the sunshine was a sight to behold! Once we were in Tennessee, we were basically in rain the rest of...
I love it, Char! Exactly what I had in mind for the challenge, too! Everything you have journaled and quoted is sooooo spot on! Especially the factual statement that God is evident in our lives.....if we will but look! Shuffleboard, eh? Sounds safer than my battle with the pickle ball...
