I gave my photo a watercolor effect then used a sketch filter and blended the two. I then gave it texture by blending it with the background paper and added some mixed media texture, splats, etc.
Hi! I just saw this and am so glad you are back. I'd been wondering about you. I'm so sorry about Winston but hope that the act of creating will help with your sorrow. :beatingheart:
I love this! Great idea to mix a real photo with the tiles. Your layout inspired me to buy Jenn's Of-The-Sea bundle. :) Congratulations, too, on the GSO!
This is marvelous, Vicky! I love all the subtle blending and your well-chosen quotations. The whole page is beautifully designed. Congratulations on the GSO!
I love this, Jane! I love how you mixed the sketched elements with the regular ones and, of course, you made another fabulous background. Congratulations on the GSO! Well deserved
I love the way you made your title. It's both graceful and beautiful and looks perfect with that painted scene. The whole page makes me want to linger and just take it all in.
Omigosh, this is too funny! :D I love how clever and creative those "Gothic" folk are and you've made a wonderful page for them. I especially like the crow, but the whole page is terrific.
