My daughter and I have done that at Mass after the sign of peace all the time. Since she was little, she would place her hand on mine and say "When will I be as big as you Momma??" Now her fingers are almost as long as mine, but they will always be smaller.

That quote is so perfect to describe grief because we are caught between wanting to keep them alive, and working on moving forward without them.

Your page and the photo really shows your theme.

Thank you so much!!! I am so happy that I found that picture of Michael's parents at their 25th. I had a picture of my Mom and Dad on their 25th, but when it came time to make the page, the photo didn't work as well as both of us with the cake. My parent's one was very posed.

I can't believe I didn't think of this imagery of a quilt!!!! Wonderful, and congratulations on your Standing O - well deserved! !
