well, Matthew is definitely better... he's had 4 big cups of sprite/pedialyte and while I don't let them have that much soda generally, if it gets him to drink, I'm not messing with the system... he actually ate a hotdog for dinner too... plus he's more animated today... definitely a good thing!

good morning! Matthew is still pretty lethargic this morning... I'm mixing sprite with pedialyte, and have gotten him to drink about 2 oz of pedialyte mixed with about 3 oz of sprite so far and he's started on a new cup with 3oz of sprite/3oz pedialyte... but he's not out of the woods yet... he...

update: Matthew has to be in the doctor's office at 3:45... we've had no urine output (sorry - gross I know) since late yesterday evening... which means they're worried about dehydration... I'm starting to freak out... he's just sooooo little... and his fever is up just a tiny bit... not...

good morning! I'm at home today... Matthew is still having potty issues so the daycare won't take him... this is the second morning in a row he's needed a shower when he gets up and that I've had to wash the blanket and sheets on his bed *sigh* I'm really glad this job is a casual position...

hey all... on my way to bed... I worked late, and then just vegged out in front of the tv... Matthew is feeling a little better... at least he's still getting some fluids and the potty problems have abated somewhat... they went ahead and tested him for strep today, but the rapid test came back...

well Matthew's had a fever today... 3rd day in a row, so we're off to the pediatrician in the morning to see what's up... so I'm off work in the morning, and Gabe's going to come home by 1:00 so I can go into work for a few hours... so... that's the way my day is ending *sigh*

Sara - they had a Lego store in Virginia when we lived there... they had these HUGE displays of legos including the White House and a couple other things, but I don't remember what they were!

good afternoon! we've been back from the ER for about 3 hours... Piper's stitches are gone... although the first one that was put in was a little tighter than the last 2... so they couldn't get it out with regular scissors and had to use a small blade to cut the thread... Piper said it hurt...

hey all... not much going on here today... we're just hanging around the house... Gabe brought tons of his old legos from the garage so the kids are having a blast with them! It means a mess for mama though... well, gotta run... time for Matthew's nap!

Matthew is doing okay... you'd never know he's sick except for the fever and frequent pull-up changes... his temp this morning was 101.4 and my pediatrician's office said if he still has it in the morning to call them... as for Piper, she's great... yesterday we got to leave the neosporin off...
