    Artistic Connection AJ2

I have wanted to find a set of vintage Prang Watercolors for years. My first set was in the early 60's. I have loved them ever since. This week my wish came true! They will have a prized place in my studio. :D

    The "Big" Snow 2022

Such a rare ocurrence for our grands! I grew up in the North, so I had to teach them Snow Angels and Snow Man Building 101, LOL. We didn't have gloves because we just don't need them here, normally. But I had latex ones in my studio. Funny but effective.

Thank you. No, she is in the mountains of Copan, Honduras. We were forced by changes in national adoption laws to leave her with her birth mother in 2000. We wanted to bring her here for a few months to get to know her as an adult, but without "papers" it is impossible. Her mother was 14 when...

It’s sad. It broke our hearts to be forced to leave her in Honduras. We had no choice. We tried to get her back, but no documents of her birth exist.. Then 19 years later we found her on Facebook..We were so happy. Unfortunately, she is not able to let her guard down and allow more than a...

    JULY 2025 Standing O's

Thank you, Lady. It's now been a year since Dad passed, and we went to the Lake and both knew we wanted to move there. That's the light- the hope given on same day of sadness- by our King.

Tracy, Thank you. I use AJ here often to process things. It's been a year since we discerned we both want to live at the Lake. The wait (because of the V.A..) has been really gruelling. Our hearts are NOT where we are- they've already moved. In our time together with the Lord last week, hubster...

    Was Anyone Else's Independence Day...

Hahaha. I understand, Susie. I do. But I have to laugh a little, as it brought back memories of Central America and south Texas! I grew up with grand fireworks displays in Ohio. They were quite artistic as I remember! Like the ones shown on T.V. I loved the sight but had a hard time with the...

    Making digital drawings

YES! @Agata When I began designing (Amanda's Digital Studio- - retired in 2017) , I was given a Wacom. It worked great, once I got the settings right. There was a tiny half second-second delay, but you get used to it. By now the tablets may be even better. I later got a touch screen, which also...
