The Osage prairie in Oklahoma is a favorite place for me with lots of photos taken over the years. These from 2006 are perhaps special in that they may be the first scenics I used in digital scrapbooking. Before that I did family history and current family.
Wow, even though you used warm colors in the page the feeling of all that snow comes through in a big way! The photos are well arranged and the edge is just enough to join it all. Never thought of of ABQ having that much snow.
Last night DH's Hum&Strum group did their spring sing-along gig and one song, Take It Easy, has lyrics that I thought I should scrap for this month's word. I used the first chorus and especially relate to the part "the sound of your own wheels." Maybe some of you will relate to that.
Wow, this is different with all the dark and the flowers, but so beautiful. The book textures, the vine, all tie it together. Too bad the spider split, but this is great.
Delightful trip through the page for all the birthday excitement. One repeated with the boxes and flowers helps keep the flow going. Nice use of the word art.
Lovely page and as always interesting framing that works so well. Love the iris element and the rest of that cluster. How cool to have the Bobolink still there!
Happy Wednesday Birthday Fairy! I can't spend so much time here right now but I'm trying to keep up a little bit. The first day challenge became very special for me and I'm working on the games.
Always so happy to see you here. :heartpumplove:
You may not be a "bird person," but this page is beautiful. How neat to get the flight shots while working with the blackbird. Love the signpost with the ribbon and dried stem and the upper left geese in flight.
