I saw this beautiful mourning cloak (nymphalis antiopa) from my study and wanted to photograph it. I carefully stalked it to no avail. It closed its wings and we both stayed in the same position for a long time. So first photo with wings folded. Suddenly he flew away and I was too late.... so...
