So fabulous! Instead of flattening, have you ever made a stamp? Just make visible only the layers you want to merge, and do a Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E (translate if you are on Mac). PS merges the visible layers onto a separate layer w/o deleting any of the separate layers. That way, you still have...
Love the text treatment with the spaced out letters with interspersed dots. Have used this technique in the past, but forgot all about it. Will need to try it again sometime soon.
Wow, this is great. Love the peeling paint paper from City Limits. I saw some great paint like this on my last trip to Monterey and snapped it. Haven't had any time to play with it though. I want a whole stash of cool peeling paint supplies.

My 2014 CD calendar this year has the theme of Venice. The lift idea is a cityscape with water.
