Vicky, I took your advice and didn't stress, just went and played with a kit that I love still and a song that was on my mind, another of the songs The Kingston Trio recorded long ago on an album called Last Month of the Year.

I suggested this song for the Hum & Strum holiday program this year but it didn't make the cut. So it gets a place here instead.

I took photos at night knowing the snow would soon melt. But it was quite the snow effect while it lasted!

I like how you put the photo into that old book format. Looks super. Backgrounds are perfect for it. Nice, still unique take on the picture.

Amy, I've gotten lots of books from Shutterfly and always liked them. I use their templates for the images I upload because a 12x12 page doesn't show a full 12x12 but essentially crops the edges. I don't actually do them that big, usually just 10x10. Still don't understand the resolution issue.

December birds or remembering our days doing the Christmas Bird Count.

For many years our December highlight was doing the Christmas Bird Count. We aren't up to that any more, but it still feels like birds are special then. These are birds here in the winter for my ATCs.

I did this back in 2010 and it just doesn't seem to be all it could. This is my redo, much more in my current style.
