When I sit down at my painting
station, I turn on some worship
music, often instrumental
and begin the painting. It
doesn’t take long before
I am “in the zone”. I find
that I can hear more easily
when I paint. With every wash of color
His peace washes over me;
the world disappears. I
draw near...

Still creating great pages I see! The subtle color on the birds becomes more evident with the artistic neutral background you've used. I like the bit of checkered ribbon tucked in there for contrast.
OH! I just love the watercolor look of this! The contrasting of real/realistic images with graphics (like the alpha & word art) is one of my favorite ways to do a page.
You would have been 90 this July 22. I miss you so much. I take comfort that you walked with the Lord here and that you continue that walk there. This was a hard page to create.
Such a moody, interest provoking page. I am GLAD the spider was gone, LOL! The light playing on the flowers and shining though the window makes this so pleasant. Beautiful.

Ohhh, I just HAD to comment on your page! The lake (?) - boats and water are my magnet! Such good contrast happening here with the blues and browns. :heartpumpred:
