I agree with Stacey! Fantastic layering and use of white space!

Kim, I just love how you've created an interior designer's board like some of the shows do on HGTV and Magnolia! It will be a wonderful reminder in the future when you need to refresh or repair, maybe even recreate in a new place. This is, after all, the goal of scrapbooking - keeping the records!

What a fun LO! I love those pops of red that keep the eyes moving until they've seen all the photos. Well done!

What a lovely memorial LO! I know there are a number of elements here, but this LO reads elegantly minimalist. Beautiful!

    Book Suggestions?

You know, it's interesting how I came to be such a reader. I babysat almost every night of the week from age 12-17. I usually had my homework done before I went to work but needed something to do so I always took a book with me. The librarians at school and the public library knew me well...

    Book Suggestions?

We must have been sisters in another life. I do this exactly. I am also have around 4000 books downloaded, most of them free of charge, through a newsletter I get daily tailored just for me called Book Bub. But I think I need to find a different system for the series I've read. There are too...

    Book Suggestions?

I will and I'm sure he will. Justin is godfather to many children and several are diagnosed with high functioning autism. He is totally disabled himself because of complications from Chiari Malformation decompression surgery and can't work, so he is sometimes asked to babysit them for a few...

Olga, this is absolutely my cup of tea! I must go look for them. I'll get print first then let my son know about them. We have similar tastes. He likes books he has to think about. He's reading War and Peace by Tolstoy right now and it's a real slog but he is determined to see it through...

Thanks, Jane! I've read Mistborn but not the others. I'll have to check the others out. My list is growing and that's cool, I won't get lost in the Kindle store.

    Book Suggestions?

I do have Kindle Unlimited and there is such a volume on there (pun intended) that I need a dir4ection to go. I've seen some of these, investigated a couple, got interrupted by real life and lost them when I went back! I've seen those below too, but will really have to check them out. My...

    Book Suggestions?

I have been binge-reading a ton of cozy mysteries because they are brainless and I can do them while watching TV with my Dad and still keep track of both. But they really don't stimulate my mind. I could re-read Highlander or Harry Potter or Sword of Truth or Wheel of Time, but I really want...

What Family Tree Format Do You Prefer?

I love the fan shaped and circular ones, especially when they are color coded. They make a prettier presentation. What I would really like is one that is a wonderful, big, one that fills up my wall. I would happily have a beautiful tree painted on the wall with spaces to fill in. Maybe I...

Do You Ever Happy Dance or Weep When You Find an Ancestor?

I do! When I finally found my 4X great grandparents' marriage in 1804 - somewhere I didn't expect - I had to really make myself be quiet. I was happy dancing in my chair at 2AM. A few minutes later I was weeping when I found he had died leaving her with 2 small children and pregnant with the...

Journaling reads: The night before my dear friend Mary had ligament surgery in both an arm and leg, she came to spend at least 10 days with me in Norman. Both our husbands were away on disaster duty and there was no one to care for her. Since the surgery was in Oklahoma City and we were about 15...
