Your split journaling is so creatively done; I also love the horizontal design and your delicate clusters at each border. Congrats on your well-deserved GSO!
I used Yummly in the past too, but since I don't really like to cook, I only had a couple of recipes saved. I was looking for a cookie recipe for Christmas and saw the notice about it closing. I typically just Google for recipes, and if it's a keeper I just bookmark it in my browser.
My layout is less about the destination than the traveling itself, and this challenge was the perfect opportunity to scrap a selfie I took on the plane to Seattle! Thanks for the challenge!
I hadn't traveled by plane in over 10 years, and while I enjoy flying, I found the whole process intimidating. My daughter came to my rescue and was my guide and the best travel buddy ever.
I was reading in bed at midnight and heard fireworks going off. They are legal here but only during certain holidays...I don't remember if NYE is one of them. I'm glad you and Cheryl had the chance to celebrate together!
Welcome, Bee! I can totally sympathize with creative block cramping your style. My go-to is always challenges too! Looking forward to getting to know you!
This is my first layout of 2024. It's somewhat bittersweet, because while we had our annual large family Christmas gathering this year, we forgot to take our traditional group photo.
This is just stunning, Sylvia! The photo is lovely in the way you framed it and the monotone effect with just that little pop of gold is magical. Congrats on your GSO and Standing O!
