I am such a fan of Icelandic wool--on our first trip, before I even learned how to knit, I brought home half-a suitcase of Alafoss Lopi that I found deeply discounted at the Alafoss Outlet...now it's one of my favorite yarns for sweaters. What a wonderful trip this is!
Wow! This is an intriguing design, because it captures both getting to what you saw and then what you saw. The road photo at the bottom really unifies the idea.

I love that sculpture! Great to see it prominently featured. Before the pandemic we regularly visited Iceland, with our home base being a tiny apartment in Reykjavic. I am hoping you got the chance to go tolting through the lava fields on Icelandic horses!
