What a fun challenge! My first thought was an old book that I have, so I took pictures of a couple of the pages and used that. (The book is out of copyright and in the public domain.) I had a lot of fun putting this together. Thanks for the challenge!
I was inspired by the drawings as well as the upside down title. I was given an old copy of Kindergarten Limericks as a child and these photos are from that book. It was written by Florence E. Scott with drawings by Arthur O. Scott and is now out of copyright and in the public domain.
You got some wonderful photos of that cutie! I love the split design of your page and I especially l like how the branch carries our eye across the page.
I love how you were able to pull elements from so many kits and place them harmoniously into this beautiful white space design. Lovely! By the way, I'm curious about your title. Is it word art from one the kits? A font? It's so clever and eye-catching.
Those photos are gorgeous! Seeing frost on trees is my favorite part of winter. The white paper with the subtle grid pattern that you used reminds me of them, too. Beautiful page!
That's so interesting to learn about Tall Jake. I imagine it looks even taller because of the flat land around it. I like your colorful page and especially the pretty borders and title.
