Journaling reads: I felt worse for all the kids than I did for myself. Our older granddaughter, a high school senior, had no Prom and no graduation. They were assigned a time to go to the high school when they would be alone for pictures. Our younger granddaughter missed almost a year of school...

What can I add to all the above? I can only imagine the ordeal you both went through (yes, you, too, Mom) but it's wonderful that such surgeries are possible and that he came through it all with "new" feet. I love the photo placement, especially since you were able to fit so many on the page yet...
