Love that large photograph and the beautiful autumnal colours! I know how everyone feels - Although we have no pets now we have had many cats in our life so we offered to look after my cousin's cat (not a house cat) last Christmas as they headed to Boston and after keeping him in for a week...

She's four and full of so much energy we end up exhausted but luckily she also loves drawing and creating so Granny and Papa can enjoy some quiet time...

You've got to love a muddy pumpkin patch with those overpriced pumpkins...

Thanks Miki, I thought I had already been through a grieving process for the mother I had lost to Dementia but of course life isn't so straightforward and find myself grieving over again but mostly being incredibly grateful for the time we had together; the good and the bad times. x
