That paint was a happy accident at the last minute, a leftover layer from a Multimedia Daisy I was moving off the page. When I saw how the paint looked left behind, I said..."ahhhhhhh"!
You are so right about the work never being done! Just one more plant to try, one more weed to pull, one more chomping insect to try to figure out. But also those moments you mention of peace, serenity, and accomplishment are also so very real...the world just feels in harmony in those times.
Isn't it wonderful to pop back in time like that? Just had a similar experience at my son's 40th bday party, where many of the old crews assembled and it reminded me of when they were kids around my kitchen table. Awesome to get to see how they grow, and also how their children are growing! Love...
