    Masking Question

I would play with the Feather tool under Select --> Modify. I would select the part of the photo you want to remain clear, then invert the selection - Ctrl-Shift-I or Cmd-Shift-I I think? Then hit delete after you've put in your feathering, and it should give you gradual soft edges without...

What Do You Do on New Year's Day?

We don't really do much, usually get together with family or friends. The only rule is no laundry on New Years Day - brings bad luck.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. A super emotional day for sure. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. Today it's 11 AM and I'm spent the day putting away Christmas. Everything is down and boxed up, just need to get it back into the garage and on the shelves where it's stored 11...

It's been a long day. We laid my dad to rest at the cemetery today - he passed away 2 years ago (Oct, 4, 2019) and mom wasn't ready to put his ashes in the Niche (Columbarium) yet, so we waited. Then with covid my sister couldn't get home until now as the border was closed. In -30'C weather...

    What do you scrap on?

I use a lap desk, has a pillow attached to the bottom. I have a wide one because I use an external mouse.

    What do you scrap on?

You can have photoshop open on one screen and your Bridge or photos / scrapbooking stuff open on the other monitor to drag and drop - it just means you don't have to switch windows as often as it's spread over two monitors instead. I love it at work, wish I had it at home!

I will take the prayer thank you! This spot is on my chin, my dentist referred me because it changed color. I didn't actually think it would turn out to be anything because I've had it for all my adult life, but the changing of it was a bit concerning. Got it checked out/biopsied and turns...

Oh! Forgot to reply about the CHAOS thing - I am in need of decluttering, I just tell myself I don't have time (because I'd rather be scrapping or reading). That's great that you found a way to start @tanteva! We bought a bigger house in June so now there's room for all the junk and it's just...

We got it up and running! A plumber came (plumbing/heating is the same people here) about 10 am and we had the heat working by 11. Turns out the cold air from the cold air intake was so bloody cold it froze up the diaphragm that expands to let the gas through to the flame (it was frozen...

It is really freaking cold where I’m at: and our furnace stopped working overnight, it was a very chilly wake up. Keeping warm with some space heaters and hoping to get a plumber here soon, or the gas company if we can’t find a plumber (no heat is an emergency when the temps are this low, the...
