    Daily Ooos: Monday, November 29

Hi all! Busy day for me, I've been a bit of a klutz the last few days - I fell down our garage stairs (3 stairs, but onto concrete) and bruised my hip and broke a toe (yes, really - I've broken all my toes at one time or another, so they're easy to break after you've done so once). Then this...

    Christmas day

I loved using the borders for this page, it made it so easy to cluster along the sides and add my own little bits to it.

Ice Breaker: What Story Makes Your Family Laugh Every Time You Tell It?

That skeleton cracks me up! One that gets my family laughing each time is the story of how I never had a chair .... We were a family of 4 (my sister, mom, dad and I) and I was the youngest. My parents bought 3 tables in a row that only came with 3 chairs, so I had the odd chair out. Then...

    Quick & Easy Gifts?

Those are really cute!! I once made photo cubes for my family, they were fantastic (and the one time I wasn't scissor challenged). My mom still has hers out, 10 years later. I tried to find a tutorial but couldn't find one :(

Hahahaha it is about an hour and 15 minute flight. Up, over the mountains, down. He finally got in to the dr for a followup and had the test results, and has a mitt full of antibiotics and potassium to take every day for 2 weeks, so I'm hoping that he will be feeling better very, very soon...

Ice Breaker: Do You Have a Favorite Family Heritage Photo?

This one! I don't know the exact year, but it's early 1940's judging by my grandma's age. The story was that they all gathered in this area because they got a power pole in their yard - which was also the first time they got power to their house. It was such an occasion they had to take a...

Daily Ooos: November 20-21: Weekend Edition

@BrightEyes I've always done 2 trees, even when we had our 2 bedroom, 800 square foot house lol! Over the summer we moved from a Bilevel to a 2-Storey with a bonus room, the bonus room is where I hang out most of the time, so I want it to seem Christmas-y too :) I go all-out for Christmas...

Daily Ooos: November 20-21: Weekend Edition

Hey all! Like Eva, I've been MIA this week, and it was a hellish week for me too. I'm glad the full moon has past, and hoping that means the craziness will have passed as well. Today we set up our Christmas stuff - well, half of it. I do 2 trees, and we got the main floor all done including...

If you put up a Christmas tree, when do you put it up?

Thanksgiving for us was in October (Canada), but I always wait until after Nov. 11th (Remembrance day) to show respect for that first. I feel like I'm late this year, haven't got it out yet - but plan to this weekend! It goes down between Boxing Day and New Years, I like having the house clean...
