Thanks for the challenge. I had to check about what fantasy exactly includes, and have put the definition I found in the upper right corner of my page. I wasn't sure if it had to be a "scene," and maybe it doesn't. :D
We were glad Convergence Station was just as good as the show in Santa Fe. Sometimes things like that can go south. We explored three of the five floors and reached sensory overload. We knew we'd have to go back. 300 artists had a message. We had fun and thought we at least got the gist of it.
Winter in Florissant. Thank you for the challenge. It's a very busy LO but brings back the cold wind of the day and so much more I needed to document. ;)
We arrived at Florissant Fossil Beds Nat'l Monument just before 1 pm and you got your lifetime military U.S. Parks pass. We hiked the short distance to the biggest petrified redwood stumps but were driven inside by the cold and wind. The video about the area was excellent.
Happy New Year, Myla! This is beautiful and full of light and sparkle. I'm way behind and cant catch up right now but will be back to see all your pages as soon as I can. ;)
I went with the line from lower left to upper right, with a snowflake charm for my element and three or more colors.
Thank you for the challenge.
After lunch we decided on the scenic drive back to our cabin. Crystola Road ran alonside Crystola Creek and I stopped to look at the sun on the open water and the most colorful winter trees I'd ever seen.
Thanks. To be fair, it turns out they quit serving breakfast with COVID-19 and just never brought it back. They were surprised the papers still had it listed .
Yes a drop shadow. The trees were so flat and why not I thought. I wanted to brighten the snow on the branches but nothing seemed to work, so I went the other way. Have fun "going back" to Oregon. :D
Had to think for days how I'd make a page about listening. Mr. Stone can't hear and I wanted it to be something he'd like. :D I spent more than twice as much time on this layout as I usually do. But thanks for the challenge.
On Tuesday there was another inch of snow overnight. But once the sun came out it was a gorgeous day with hoar frost and snow on all the trees. We drove out to Divide and past Mueller State Park and enjoyed ground blizzards on Pike's Peak and frost on grasses. Later, trees were green again.
A wonderful treasure so beautifully presented here. I love your design, the way you use red and green, and the little square frame with the word strips.
You're still lucky as you have this treasure of a photo. My family did this too. It's a darling photo and I like how the elements add motion in the white space. Also like that background paper with the darkened border.
