Tried many many mask effects and brushes and decided no way to get what I wanted so I've got one photo on a scenic fotoblendz and in my defense, I put extra effort into the wordart. :D

We both needed to conserve energy, and picked a trip to the overlook for Garden of the Gods. It would avoid much hiking and we didn't have to go through the park entrance just to see the sunrise. The drive down the canyon was rush hour traffic into CSprings, and a gorgeous sunrise.

We stopped as soon as we saw the weather on Pike's Peak, and when we came by later the view wasn't nearly as interesting. We were glad we pulled over in the late rush hour traffic. Bright sun melts the snow off the trees quickly, and ground blizzards could be over at any minute.
