Thanks for the challenge, Claire. Worked out perfect for me for today. I used paper, a snowflake, threadz and a transfer from Anna and a date stamp from Rachel. Thank you for allowing a little bit of text so it works in my book. ;)

On Monday morning it snowed a little and by 7am there was half an inch. It was very gray so we stayed in and I took a photo of the big tree outside my window. Eagle Fire Lodge was a two-star, advertised as the best in town. There was no staff, no signs of their continental breakfast.

Not a beautiful day for our drive to this month's cabin, and snow sky. I went for the moodiness, but in the end needed to add back in a bit of the yellows after I used the gradient map. Thanks for the challenge! :cool:

LOL I'm a quilter too & quilt lover, and my first thought was how this page has the vibe of a quilting youtube channel but with a couple of nice family photos tucked in. :D

Those socks are adorable! Congrats on the Standing O, and yes, I think he's smiling. The eyes and lot just his mouth. He looks like a gnome in those yellow socks.
