That stain on top looks like the sun! So perfect! I am a daisy fan, too.

That paint was a happy accident at the last minute, a leftover layer from a Multimedia Daisy I was moving off the page. When I saw how the paint looked left behind, I said..."ahhhhhhh"!

You are so right about the work never being done! Just one more plant to try, one more weed to pull, one more chomping insect to try to figure out. But also those moments you mention of peace, serenity, and accomplishment are also so very real...the world just feels in harmony in those times.

Isn't it wonderful to pop back in time like that? Just had a similar experience at my son's 40th bday party, where many of the old crews assembled and it reminded me of when they were kids around my kitchen table. Awesome to get to see how they grow, and also how their children are growing! Love...

Love the title, which manages to be both bold and subtle at the same time. Masterful. I used to make my own bagels, including boiling the dough, and there's nothing like the process and the rewards, just as you say. Congrats on that Standing O!

This is lovely...it feels like an invigorating shower of all the benefits that nature offers us. I do love that squirrel and the movement created by the butterflies.

Love your subway shot. There's certainly nothing like NYC transit! Awesome use of the silhouettes, too, though they do look a little too polite for the platform in my experience lol!

How absolutely luscious! I love the gardening journal idea and have tried it a few times...but they have always tended to self-destruct in the weather or the inhospitable interior of my garden tote. Beautiful documentation of your book here!

You've made great strides on the Little House! Of course Ron is sick of it...but I suspect that will be forgotten as you continue down the home stretch. I eagerly await the pictures from move-in day!

    Emma's Garden

Probably the last digging of the season...yet another garden being cut into the landscape of our new/old house. This one is my daughter's personal area, a place for vegetables, flowers, dogs and toddlers. My mind is already overflowing with ideas, but I'm keeping them to myself, at least for...
