Me too. If I use a QP it is one that I have made from scratch. Pre-made are not for me. However I can see the value in them if you are not a true scrapper and just want to make pages for a one time project.

First and foremost do not use coloured nectar mix or use red food colouring. A red feeder does the trick of attracting the birds. My hubby changes the nectar every week (4-5 days if it is hot) and thoroughly washes the feeder each time. The hotter the weather the quicker the nectar can spoil...

I do it regularly using brushed and overlays.
