Like how you included photos of signs from the area. The grunge and the title do much to communicate the devastation of both the physical damage but also the heartache. The swirls--reminds be of a hopeful and positive outlook.

Journaling: On Christmas Eve we would gather round the piano and sing Christmas carols. Aside from opening presents, this was one of my favorite traditions. Next was photos in front of the tree and finally the real fun would begin -- opening presents. And then- waiting for Santa to come...
