    Wedding album pp 16-17.jpg

The kids started dancing in the sand after the ceremony and I caught these snaps on my cell phone. Then there was some horsing around on the beach between the groom and his brothers and I snapped that too. I'm now facing a slew of "standing there" portraits--the gazillion photos of different...

Thanks! And Legos are a great stress relief--that satisfying "click." Like popping bubble wrap! I hope you are right about the ads and the drama!

A page about hand-knits on their way to school. This sweater is a family favorite from last year (two seasons--I knit BIG) but I'm also churning out all sorts of knits this year--great stress reliever during this bizarre election cycle.

My grandson was a fly fisherman for Halloween, with cardboard fish and big boots and a hat. So simple, so adorable. My daughter had way too much fun making those fish--thought you'd appreciate knowing that homemade costuming is not dead! Love those awestruck pumpkins on the left.

Of course you know that Simon & Garfunkel will now follow me for a bit, but there are worse things, right? Congrats on the SO. I am loving this on so many levels, but particularly your maximalistic organization, which allows us to safely (meaning without confusion) explore all the visual...

Thank you! I have been to high-production weddings as well--my son's wedding, in fact, in NC, was scripted to the nanosecond. But here, it was blessedly informal from beginning to end. There was a 35mm camera in play, but most of the photos I'm using come from cell phones. Elliott was asleep on...

And it would not be an official album without at least one shot of Jake's windblown hair. ';)

The vine was a last-minute thing right before I threw the laptop out the window because I could not for the life of me find that "special something" that I knew I'd know if I saw it. It turned out to be that simple vine duplicated and duplicated and duplicated. A happy ending!
