Such a happy page. it reminded me of the old song, Bluebird of Happiness and I've been singing it.

Nearly the entire city of Warsaw was bombed into rubble by the Nazis during World War II but the facades of the old city were reconstructed. Behind the facades the buildings are modern and have all the conveniences. Today, the squares are filled with sidewalk cafes, public art exhibits...

Daffodils are survivors that's for sure. I've grown them through a warm winter that was winter in name only. More like summer. Babied and nurtured them but hey they survived. A wonderful Filipino lady showed me how. A daughter of the soil.
