Not sure when I'll deliver, but this is the one that jazzed me right up. :D
It was the colors and the splashes and the cuteness that got me. I had some bunny photos and my new 52-Inspirations to use...
Before we arrived, the black crowned night heron owned his spot on the refuge, most likely because the lake was so full that his normal place on the little island in the middle was flooded. He had a great view of the sunrise and he didn't move right away although I got close before I noticed him.
We have bunnies that we interact with in a kind of similar way as Genie does her mourning doves, and I tried to keep the colors, other than the grass, as soft as possible. :D Thanks Nancy for the inspiration.
It was a cool and very wet spring, and we started summer with torn up leaves and decimated flowers in the pots. Rain or shine we could count on three very tiny bunnies in two sizes poking up through the grass. We were so thankful to not worry about water restrictions and fire danger.
In mid-June I found photos of the rainbow on Raton Pass from mid-May and my note that it had rained a lot. Our friends complained about so much rain. And hail on June 5th left damage and stayed around til the 6th. An inch of rain overnight usually would be a month's worth for us.
Great design and use of white space. The strong background makes the worn torn slide frame stand out. I missed it when I used this kit and I love it! :D
Love the photos, the colors and different views of these flowers, and the botanical style of your page. Love the pockets and especially the small photo on top of everything.
Love those dandelions, they really stand out and with the perfect background. This is a lovely tribute to your mom, who also stood out against the perfect background.
A great design. Sweet and I love the black white and red going on, the big repeated background photo and the graph paper, and how it's almost a white space design. ;)
I love your textures, colors and contrasts. The old man and a especially interesting butterfly, dark against almost iridescent color. Rusty reds against rich greens. ;)
