I used the pocket cards and created a collage background paper. Then I added a 2 more solid papers behind that one. From there, I masked out parts and painted over parts. I used brushes to erase bits and to add other bits.
Lastly I added the photo on the mask/frame provided in the kit.
I have to come and say what wonderfully whimsical entries I am seeing here. I would love to gather them all up and make a book of nursery rhymes.... Now all I need is grandchildren.:giggle4::giggle4::giggle4:
Oh my gosh! What glorious fun! There are bits of it that remind me of my childhood... and there is my dog!
This is so delightful. Off to the Standing O for you.
So picturesque! Lynne Anzelc does exceptional work which is perfect for this type of challenge.
You have skilfully blended the elements together to create just the right scene for the rhyme. Wonderfully detailed.
Standing O for you!
Clever use of the silhouettes and black line drawing to make homey feel for the rhyme. I knew the rhyme straight away. The shadowing is really good making it look like a shadowbox in depth. Thanks for joining in the fun.
A sublime composition. Excellent the way the photo seamlessly melts into the background. The palette is so bright and bold and the flower cluster is elegant.
