I did this layout last spring using Karen Schulz monthly challenge. I just couldn't get the look I wanted. I tried to do it over again, but I still didn't like it. Now maybe the third time is the charm. I don't know.

I love these kits! I have This Is Me December Collection and the Good Friends Collection. I use them a lot! Thanks Karen. I'm excited for this months challenge.

Day 1 of 12 days of December Event. I chose gift #2 "Take a really *old* kit and make a layout with it, whether traditional or artsy." I used a cute photo a 2 of my sweet grandchildren.

Is it just making my picture Christmasy?

This is the only time my husband and I have really gone on a trip just the two of us. We still had our youngest daughter at home but it's close to being empty nesters. We are always with family on all our trips! :)

My dad live into the era of digital cameras. My mother passed away in 1999. I have a lot more pictures of my dad. He got to meet many of his great grandchildren. He lived in Oregon and my family lives in Utah. We would go to Oregon to visit my dad and my grandma often. This is a 4 generation...

The only picture I could find of me with my mom that I could crop successfully was from my wedding day. My gram was my 2nd mom. I spent more time with her because she took care of us while my mom worked. This picture is from her 90th birthday. It was a hard page to make.

I love the collage feel of your page. It makes it fun to look at. And I love the Naughty Lady of Shady Lane! "Me oh my oh what a girl!" I was born in 1955 as well. I remember hearing that song a lot! Finding baby pictures of me is a challenge in itself. LOL!
