My oldest pic is from 1874. The little girl on the lap of her father is my DH's great-grandmother. She was born in 1873. The photo was taken in Malmo, Sweden.

Be still my heart!!!!! I just happened to see this in the forum. Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for heritage pics. Thanks, Ona! I'm blessed to have access to DH's heritage pics as well as many from my side of the family. And for those, Mom had most of them stuck in magnetic pages...
Hi Esther, Actually it is part of Jopke's kit. No extraction done on my part. My mother would talk of a rooster my grandmother raised. She said it was mean and would chase her around the yard. LOL. And when I went to Poland, I took photos of roosters. That may have been when I purchased the kit. :)
