I can imagine the framed photos and elements on some dressing table. A lovely realistic approach in your heritage page. And the facing page that references the children from the union is perfect.
What a perfect pair of photos! What I'm finding with my heritage pics, especially from that age, is that unless they were done in a studio, mine are all outdoors. And generally the angle of the subject wouldn't be altered. A real treasure. :)
I use my photos or heritage photos of my family 95% of the time. So yes, my layouts are definitely meaningful to me. When I art journal, I don't use photos or I use some ephemera or image in the collection. Those also are meaningful but in a different way.
And another one from me. It features my great-aunt, my maternal grandmother's oldest sister. It isn't dated, but based on how old she looks in the photo, I'm guessing circa 1940.
