Jenn, it depends on what you have ticked in your Preferences area, this is what I have ticked here. See the Use Legacy Free Transform, you might have that one ticked is why you don't see the transform box?

@mimes1 Amy are you talking about this little transform button being ticked? If so, double check that the Extra option is ticked, under the View menu - sometimes I turn it off accidently if I hit the CTRL+H keys by mistake. :)
