Surface covering is very versatile as they can act as a background layer or a super mask. Here I layered 3 of the coverings and used them as a mask for the flowers as well as a background. Then added the main image.

I use Windows 11 and have had no trouble using the snipping tool. I find it quite easy and straight forward.

Hmm I really like the bold clean look of a white space LO. But they don't have to be that style. White space just means to keep at least most of the page clear. (I actually envy those who can write stories) Often if doing a memory page, I will start with a photo that isn't in the best shape...
