Challenge #3 Recipe Challenge

Summers are always hot in South Louisiana, but we are sweltering here. June was awful, record highs and July much the same. With our humidity, a 91 degree day is actually 101. Our humidity is 50-70%. Our electric bill is through the roof. Thank goodness for the pool.

My go to and freezeable food is a chicken tortilla soup that I cook in the crockpot-put everything in- chicken, broth, diced tomatoes, beans and slow cook. Freeze what you want. Can foods are still relatively cheap.
