Good morning everyone. Thought I'd get the convo started this morning. It sure feels like fall here today. There is a crispness in the air and the temps are cooler. There is a beautiful golden tree outside our window that I enjoyed viewing this morning. I should take a pic of it.

I'm off to coffee this morning with friends and then will go to canasta for the afternoon at the center.

I made a creamy lentil tomato stew for dinner last night. I enjoy beef and chicken sometimes but I sure feel better when I stay away from meat and dairy. This soup will be a good one for me to make and freeze for quick dinners.

I'll be designing a few more pieces for an upcoming market next wkend and want to get some more kids glow in the dark bracelets ready.

I hope to get some scrapping done this wk but we'll see. There always seems to be so many other things to do. I need more hours in the day LOL.

Good Morning to Rae and all!
It is a little warmer here today than yesterday, which was rainy. With all the trees around us in our back yard and woods, not much color has appeared yet!

Monday was the PAP fun and today was the MAMMO fun! DONE for another couple of years! I had the 3D Ultrasound mammo but the mashing was still done! I thought that would be eliminated! It wasn't too bad. I'm pretty sure the gal I had this time was the same one who did it 2 years ago. She is so sweet and gentle! And I learned today that she is actually from our little town!

I went to bed at 10:30 last night and woke up a little after 2! Couldn't go back to sleep for anything! I wasn't feeling well. Kept the bathroom busy and finally just stayed up. Couldn't sleep in the recliner and kept feeling worse and worse. After Mark left for work at 5:30 I tried to lay back down. Didn't work. I felt so bad. Decided to drink some water as I was really thirsty and about 1 1/2 bottles later I began to feel better. The shakes disappeared and the only thing I can figure is that I must have been dehydrated from all of the bathroom business! So, I decided I would stick to drinking only water today!

No lunch with Mark today. My tummy just isn't up to it! I did finally eat a banana when I got back from the doctor's office.

Yes you should. I love fall trees and when they're golden and full its just stunning. Would love to see your tree.

@vickyday I'm sorry you had such a rough night. That sounds miserable. Hopefully things will level out and be better. Yeah for doc appointments being done.

Today is a busy day. Its Wednesday! Woo hooo!!! I get to stand around with some amazing ladies and make dinner for a wonderful group of families dedicated to bring their kids up in Christ. Its an amazing day. Its raining, which would sound bad but it means when I open the windows to cool the kitchen, it will actually cool! Yesterday we frosted hard, and today its 43°. Dental was great yesterday. @scrap-genie Hope your dental was as good, easy and no issues.

Yesterday was so sunny and the air was crisp and just beautiful. It felt like fall. Today looks like fall :giggle4: rain, dreary colors, trees half bare since the wind took half the leaves. The ground is covered in fallen leaves. Wont be too much longer and the snow will fly. I love October :heartpumppink: Well, better get my day going! Have a wonderful day!

Have fun in the kitchen!

I'm amazed how much better I feel right now as opposed to this morning! It had to be that I was dehydrated! Tummy not up to much more than the banana I ate, however! Keeping the water going today! I wish I could lay down and take a nap! But if I did, even not sleeping last night, I probably wouldn't sleep tonight! I want to be good and DEAD tired by tonight! ;)

@AK_Tracy glad your dental was good, so was mine. I don't like to go, but do enjoy the feeling of nice shiny teeth when done.

Today is another bright sunny day and fairly warm. Great for October 1. Which reminds me that October is Family History Month.

Bet Chris is having a good time at the shore!
 
Wow... another very busy day today. Started off with a trip to the lab for fasting blood sugar + 1 other lab test. Then... drove halfway across town (got lost on the wrong road but found it 10 minutes later) to pick up the air filters for the heater. Carrier no longer sells the filter that fits my heater... so had to go to a filter manufacture to get one. I bought 3 of them so I won't have to hunt for them in the coming few years!! :yesss: Got a heater tune-up scheduled for May 14th... (the 1st fall day the temp will drop into the 40's at night!!!! :brrr:) Then it was over to the base to pick up my Rx (45 minutes there). Then stopped in the Exchange to get something to eat - I was starving by then... Finally over to the commissary to get groceries and got home at 1:45PM... I am POOPPED!! :thud: I managed to get most of the groceries put away.

After I did all that, I got my bone density test set up in mid-November (earliest I got it). My new Doc said I didn't need a mammo any more since I am in my eighties. But I will keep doing my self-checks just to be on the safe side.

Need to rest for awhile to recover from all the out and about today.
