Hello aArtists!

It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects a creative page or design concept from the Anna gallery as the ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday, November 19, 2021 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: On Saturday the AnnaTeam posts a creative concept from the Anna gallery as the ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

If you’ve never challenged yourself to an AnnaLift—just do it!

If you’ve never posted or shared your AnnaLift—just do it!

If you have time to leave some love for someone in the gallery—do it too!
(Your kind words may inspire and encourage someone!)

Please post your art in this thread and link to the Anna Aspnes gallery to win the $5 giftcard.

In this Challenge, use one point linear perspective to show that paths to follow:

Arch . . . by Dorci

Arch…by Dorci
creates a dynamic architectural composition directed by a series of arches. The photo relies on linear perspective and follows the receding lines of the portico. A solitary figure captures our imagination as the lines are punctuated. The neutrals of the photo are repeated in the delicate dimensional accents that wrap the edge. Details of bricks blend into subtle text. A triangle of green foliage gently frames the image. An expressive title is a clear and simple message. Dorci shares her stunning art to inspire our artistry.

All Aboard . . . by helenedubois

All Aboard . . . by helenedubois leads us down the path of nostalgia in her classic application of linear perspective with a railroad track. We are on eye level with the railroad track and are able to follow the gentle curve to the vanishing point. The focal image is framed. A small photo captures the accompanying depot. Subtle brushes of clocks and stained ledgers suggest the passage of time. Stamps, ribbon, and leaf add dimension to the artistry. Deep red accents the neutral colors of tan and grey and lead the eyes in a visual triangle that frames the key elements. Helenedubois shares her stunning artistry to inspire our artistry.

Bring Me Home . . . by Joansmor

Bring Me Home… by Joansmor has created a design that is dominated by a blended focal image. The photo depicts a solitary path leading our eyes into the shadowy woods. The edges of the path flow with the use of soft orthogonal lines. The design introduces a small framed photo that represents a different view of the trail. A multimedia accent wraps the frame. An expressive title completes the design. The artistry reminds us of the paths we choose and how often we are searching for home. Joan shares her stunning and expressive artistry to inspire our journey.

This challenge demonstrates three unique approaches to expressive digital artistry.

Each artist uses a photo with one point linear perspective for their subject matter…How will you be inspired?

Thank you, Dorci, helenedubois and Joansmor for sharing your expressive and inspirational artistry.
