My DD got really sick when she was 2 years old...
journaling says: You weren't feeling well for almost a week, but not too bad. But then on January 31st, you got so sick that we had to get you to the hospital. You had Pyelitis and you had to stay for 10 days! They put you on antibiotics and I got a bunkbed next to yours. We spend your second birthday in hospital. The nurses decorated your bed and you even got a present from them. On our last day we ate a sandwich with "hagelslag" together and they finally let us go home...
(for non-Dutch girls: Hagelslag is chocolate sprinkles we love to put on our sandwiches. I know, it sounds funny but is the best!)
