The Process
I selected a solid paper from AP Art Life for the background. Then I layered Artsy Transfer Art Life_3, adjusting some of the layers and recoloring others and made a composite layer (Command + Option + Shift +E) and dragged it onto the page. I clipped my photo to a Simple FotoBlendz mask (filled with white). I duplicated the photo, changed it to black and white (blending mode soft light with a reduced opacity). I added the frame behind the photo and a texture under the it. The ribbon was recolored to match the purple brushes. Brushes, transfers, overlays, elements and word art were added to complete the page.
