Inspiration -Another Alpha page where the why words had me thinking of how things were before so I decided to use Yesterday as my word and use group pictures for my Yesterday
Started -a new Document
Photos - I used a picture of my mother's card (?) group, my 3 friends having a get together, and 3 siblings at a picnic. The picture of my friends I duplicated with each having a different blend mode and insert a layer of pink between. I played with the opacity and used mask to take away the sharp edges.
Fotoblendz - I used Layer>Create clipping mask to attached the photos to the mask layer. I did not recolor the other layers because I wanted the starkness that the black gave to the page.
Papers -I choose Solid Paper 2 and placed beneath above the back ground
Artsy Karz -added 6X4 ArtsyKardz 1 below the picture of my friends for a bit of texture. 3X4 ArtzyKardz 1 and 2 to the right and left edges. I grouped the layers and added a mask to I could remove the hard edges. The 2 one I mingled with the stain already on the page.
Brushes - I placed Panemic2.6 Brush on the left edge so that the closed sign was noticeable.
Urban Threadz - placed UrbanThreadz10-3, 10.7 and 10.11 on the left edge of the flowers
Multimedia - I choose the Jazzed up loop DaLoop so a thread ran around the picture of the siblings and the loop is around me.
Title - I used the Wordart from the free Covid-19 Wordart that Anna Aspnes has created and is available in the Oscraps store. My Aunt always said "for free take."
Journaling - of course I had to use the first verse to "Yesterday" for my journaling.
Hope everyone finds a way to celebrate the holiday or at least a nice Sunday. There are homes in Maine that have been without electricity since Friday.
